World Famous? - Yes, as long ago as 1988, Bangz was in the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the world's tallest beehive hairstyle, a staggering six and a half feet of it, and the model stylist at the time, Miss Laura Kelley, remains a stylist at Bangz Park Avenue to this day. Interestingly, this amazing fact was a listed trivia feature on boxes of Kellogg's Frosties in 1992 and an original box can still be viewed in the salon to this day.

Bangz Park Avenue is British-owned by John and Janie Tongue. We enjoy life here at Bangz Park Avenue and believe you will too. Nothing is ever too much trouble for our clients. The ambience is always professional yet pleasingly friendly and low-key. A visit to Bangz Park Avenue is like visiting a favorite relative or friend except your hair is wonderfully cared for while you're there. Bangz has been in the same location since 1983 and many clients have stayed loyal to us even when moving from out of the central Florida area. Others have discovered us through friends, family or simply when visiting beautiful Winter Park. Regular clients drive to us from many miles including Jacksonville and Boca Raton. Others fly in from Key West, The Bahamas, Bermuda and even the northern American states, such is their respect for the team here at Bangz Park Avenue. In addition, during the last year, we have styled hair for clients from eight international countries too. We are world famous after all!

We all know that water is good for you but sometimes you may want a little something different.

That's why we serve a comprehensive range of complimentary drinks including regular and diet sodas, English Tea (served in finest bone china naturally), an extensive coffee selection from our coffee bar, hot chocolate and of course, chilled or non-chilled filtered water.

For those of you old enough to know better, choose an American or British beer, a glass of red wine, chilled white wine or even champagne. Enjoy!

We have chosen not to have a blog/comments section on our website for these reasons.
